The very best wishes to all of my fellow Chan fans! This year, I'm happy to say, I received a copy of "A Charlie Chan Omnibus", a collection of the first 3 stories by Earl Derr Biggers. Since the covers are actually falling off of my 6 paperback Chan books from having been read so often, this book arrived just in time. I also received a dvd set titled "Sherlock Holmes, The Archive Collection" which contains a lot of unrelated Holmes material. The one I'm looking forward to is titled "Sting of Death" featuring "Boris Karloff as the mysterious Mycroft." Both the Chan book($5.95) and the Holmes dvd's ($14.95) came from Edward R.
