Title: Ken Hanke has passed
Post by: Steve O on June 29, 2016, 04:37:57 pm
While I much preferred Dr. Berlin's Chan books, Ken Hanke wrote a nice Chan book as well and contributed commentary to the Chan DVDs.  I was surprised he was only 61; much too soon to pass away.

And another terrible loss. My very first Chan book was Hanke's. There are not too many of us left.

That is sad news. I like his book, and I liked him.  ...Ed K. :(

His contribution to our knowledge of the history of Charlie Chan was invaluable. May he rest in everlasting peace.  :(

I'm sorry to hear that. I have and like his book.
