I always wonder when I see a new one on Charlie, or any one of the mystery series detectives for that matter, whether we are going to learn anything new about them! One does not know however until after one buys the book!! -- a Catch-22! So if anyone buys it let me know! Cheers, Chris.

The author posted some information from the book, including his chapter on The Trap, on The Many Faces of Charlie Chan which is a FB group. There was new information, at least information I never heard. Whether it's worth the price of the book is a different issue. He is more sympathetic to the Monogram Chans than Ken Hanke.

I'd like to buy a copy.  These kind of books are easy-reading, and I always find out a few new facts about my favorite detective.
