I thought she would live forever, but 95 years is a long run.
Noel Neill was, along with Elena Verdugo, one of the last surviving actors from a Chan film. Of course she was also Lois Lane (my personal favorite) and toured on the convention circuit for years until her declining health led to her retirement about 5 years ago.
RIP.

Sad indeed. Besides the one Chan and Lois on TV and in the serials, she did other serials for Republic and Columbia. She was also a great early example of the feisty, independent female, and that instantly recognizable voice was a joy to hear. RIP, and we'll miss you!

I just heard of her passing yesterday. Strangely enough I decided to see if she was still with us as I hadn't heard anything about her recently, and then i find that she only just died. We shared the same birth city (Minneapolis). Elena Verdugo and I share the same birthday (April 20). I imagine she might be the last surviving Chan actress.
